World Conditions

World Conditions are the live route modifiers that make the world feel active.

Current rhythm

• Three conditions are active at once.
• They rotate every 6 hours.
• Each one belongs to a specific route.
• Each one favors a small set of Pokemon types.

What they actually do

World Conditions currently do three important things:

• boost encounter weight for matching species on that route
• add extra Route Mastery score for condition-synced encounters
• surface live routing information on Home, /maps, and /world

Current Route Mastery bonus

When you hit a species that matches the live condition:

• encounter = +1 route score
• catch = +2 route score
• win = +2 route score

Why players should care

This system is there to answer:

• What should I go hunt right now?
• Is the outbreak better than the condition route?
• Which route is hottest for this session?

What it is not

World Conditions are not full combat rules yet.

They do not currently:

• change move damage
• change battle stats
• change Shiny rate directly
• create exclusive battle mechanics

Right now they are mainly a routing and retention system, which is still very valuable.
