Contents

Team Aura is a clandestine research faction obsessed with Aura energy. They believe Aura can be distilled, weaponized, and "perfected" — even if it means turning the region into a laboratory.

During their seasonal Takeovers, they seize key routes, set up Strongholds, and run live experiments on wild Pokemon. (See Team Aura Takeover.)

The Eclipse Project

Team Aura's core program is whispered about as the Eclipse Project: split a Pokemon's Aura into two extreme poles, then stabilize the result.

  • Radiant: Aura driven into a blazing, overclocked harmony.
  • Umbral: Aura collapsed into a dense, shadowed resonance.

Field signs

You can usually spot Team Aura activity by:

  • Grunts and barricades on the world map during Takeover weeks.
  • Stronghold entrances and takeover markers.
  • Research pods labeled Light/Dark at the end of a Stronghold run.

Known operative: Chrono

Chrono is a Vice Leader rumored to "rewind" failed experiments. If you push deep enough during a Takeover, you may draw Chrono out for a chain of fights.

A note on variants

Radiant/Umbral are rare variants. The exact eligible species and availability can change between seasons, but the game will always show you what can be infused when you reach the Research Lab.
