In Pokemon Aura your Pokemon will not learn moves by leveling up. Instead you will need 1 of 2 items to teach them moves. Those are TMs which can be purchased from the shop, and Tutor tokens which can be crafted.
Teaching Moves with TMs:
To start we'll head over to the shop to purchase TMs of our choosing. Once on the shop screen there are a couple ways to make our purchase. You can click the TMs button, and then narrow down further by clicking a type.
You can also just type the name of the move in the search bar if you know what you want to purchase already. The full move name is also not necessary as shown below.
Now that we have our TMs we can go back to the party menu. Click moves next to the pokemon you want to teach, click through the pages until you see the move, and then click on the move to teach it.
If you forget a move, you will need another TM or Tutor token to teach the move again. You can also click and drag moves to put them in the order you like. TMs can be costly early on. I will leave some tips at the end of the guide to make quicker money as a new trainer.
Teaching Moves with Tutor Tokens:
The primary way of obtaining tutor tokens is through crafting. They cost 1 crystal gem and 250 dust. We have a mining guide here(that will also show you how to forge) if you're not familiar with mining: Mining Guide
Once you have some tokens we'll head to the party. The process is exactly the same as with TMs, but the difference is a tutor token will allow you to teach any move in a Pokemon's moveset. You will see every move lit up and available to teach.
1 Tutor token is consumed per move learned, and tutor tokens will only be consumed if you do not have any available TMs for that move
Tips to earn money faster as a new player:
Every 4 hours a special cache appears on the first map you go to. The cache contains coins, team points, and sometimes TMs. Going to smaller maps first makes this easier to find. These only appear while the Team Aura Takeover event is active though.
Forging your weekly bottle cap to auction or sell to other players on discord. Bottle caps can also be found while mining crystal nodes, opening crystal geodes, and rarely from the daily game corner roll.
Shiny roll tickets can be auctioned or sold to other players as well. They can be earned by beating all 8 gyms in one region, mining crystal nodes, and rarely from the daily game corner roll.
Training on a higher level Blissey that you can defeat in one hit. This will get you the most efficient coin gains from battling.
Sending expeditions. While this is a slower option, you can still gain some passive coins and mining materials this way. Just send shorter durations if you want them faster.
