Mid Season 2 Update – News Post
Welcome back to another round of updates for the season. This patch brings new challenges, faster battling, fresh world areas, and a brand new way for the community to stay informed. Here’s everything that just dropped.
Blogs are now live
We now have an official blog system built right into the game. Editors can publish public articles that all players can read.
Please welcome our first official editor, FlamingBasil, to the Editing Team.
They’ll be posting guides, general articles, tips for new players, and feature breakdowns. This gives brand new users a linked guide right away and gives the community a resource to point to whenever someone needs help.
Expect more guides and more editors as the system grows.
Five New World Maps
Five brand new maps have been added to the world.
Each map comes with new Pokémon to discover and catch, giving collectors a ton of fresh targets to hunt down. Explore the new zones and fill out your collection with everything they offer.
If you like exploring and finding new spawns, now is your moment. Please thank Ira for designing the new maps!
Training Challenge
A new month long Training Challenge is live.
The Pokémon you use here has an instability effect that can swing +15 percent or -15 percent in battle. This challenge Pokémon is only usable inside the event.
Finish the month in the top 10 and you’ll earn special prizes. It’s a fun test of how well you can manage unpredictable battles.
Silph Co Battles
Silph Co is officially open for a new type of battle.
You need at least 3 Pokémon to enter. Enemy teams start at level 400 and also scale to 1.2 times your Pokémon, so these fights hit hard.
Defeating their strong randomized team can earn special rewards, with some being much rarer than others.
There are daily and weekly limits on entries. Winning a Silph Co item unlocks phantom battles, where you can fight successful players’ teams with slightly boosted reward odds.
Jump in and see what you can get.
Party and Storage PC Filters
New filters have been added to make sorting a lot smoother.
You can now sort another player’s box when viewing it. You can check shinies, galaxies, and other filters right from their storage. You can do the same with your own box as well.
Trading and scouting are a lot easier now.
World Map Catch Markers
All world maps now show a small pokeball icon on Pokémon you’ve already caught. This is super useful for completionists and collectors trying to track what they still need.
Faster Battles
Battles move faster now. Restarting a battle is also quicker, which makes grinding a lot smoother.
Overall Optimization
The entire game loads faster after a major optimization pass. Everything feels lighter and more responsive.
That wraps up the mid season update. Jump in, explore the new maps, take on the challenges, and keep an eye on the blog for new guides from FlamingBasil and new designs from Ira. They'll be joining the Aura staff team with Editor and Designer roles!
