S5 MID SEASON UPDATE IS LIVE 🎉
I know I said there would not be a mid season update this season, but everything kind of lined up nicely, so here we are. This update focuses on polish, customization, and some new content.
🏠 Homepage Updates
The homepage of the game has gotten a nice glow up. When you log in now, you will be able to see:
Your friends
Your current Quest Board progress
Community Highlights, which shows the latest Pokémon variants earned in game
This updates live so you can literally watch people pull cool things in real time
Your Pokédex progress
Your Eco Dome progress
MarketPulse, which shows recent and popular auction lots
Log in and visit the homepage to see all of the changes in one place.
🎨 Profile Customization
Profiles were a bit basic before, so profile customization has been opened up a lot.
Go to:
Account -> Edit Account
From there, you can:
Set your Showcase Roster
Pick a group of Pokémon you want to highlight on your profile
Future community features will look at Showcase Rosters so show off your best or favorite Pokémon
Create Galleries / Collections
Make custom galleries with your own titles
For example, if you want to show off an Eevee collection, you can create a gallery just for that
A new gallery section appears on your profile to display these collections
Add a bio and favorite Pokémon
Adjust the layout of your profile
Move modules up or down
Turn specific sections on or off
Change your profile accents
Adjust accent styling to better match your aesthetic
More profile customization will be coming in future updates. This is just the first batch of tools.
🔍 Pokémon Inspector
You can now click on any Pokémon sprite or name and a Pokémon Inspector modal will pop up.
The Inspector shows:
The Pokémon’s stats
Its moves
Original Trainer
Current owner
Its rarity and dynamic rarity for that specific Pokémon and variant
Note: Original Trainer tracking only starts from the day of this update. Older Pokémon may not show their true first owner. From now on, trades, auctions, and other ownership changes will update the current owner, but never the original trainer.
📚 Pokédex
The Pokédex system has been reworked.
Before:
You needed to own a Pokémon for it to count in the dex
Now:
You can register Pokémon to fill up the dex and earn rewards
You can work toward completing each regional dex
You will receive prizes based on how full your dex is and the regions you complete
So get started on filling your dexes. Big rewards are waiting.
🌿 Eco Dome
The Eco Dome is a new, long term research project run by Professor Aura.
You submit Pokémon permanently to contribute to the Eco Dome
Submitting means you can never get that specific Pokémon back, so choose carefully
There are daily missions in the Eco Dome
Completing a mission earns a Stamp
Stamps contain strong rewards
Completing 7 Stamps in one week earns a Stamp Crate
Stamp Crates can contain high value rewards like Shiny Tickets and Shiny Chests
Just like the Pokédex, completing each regional Eco Dome dex grants special rewards and some very special Pokémon
The long term goal is to work toward the full National Dex reward through the Eco Dome
