Today we're going to go over the trading system, and hopefully some helpful tips to get started trading with other users.

How to Create a Trade:

Using the left navigation menu, scroll down until you see "Trades". Click on this, and it will bring you to the following screen.

All trade offers you have received or sent will be shown here. Every listing here has a tag on the right side:

  • Accepted - You or your partner have accepted the trade. Nothing else needs to be done

  • Pending - You or your partner have not accepted the trade. The trade needs to be accepted or rejected by clicking on it, and selecting one of those options.

  • Draft - You or your partner have not completed the process of creating a trade. If it is your draft there will be a delete button to remove it, or you can click on the trade to make your offer.

The "Start New Trade" button will bring you to the following screen

Here you enter your trading partner's Username or Trainer ID number.

Select pokemon or items to add to the trade, and click done when you have everything marked for one or both parties. You may add both pokemon and items to the trade. For items you will have to type in a quantity, and the amount each player owns will be listed next to the item. Wishing stars have to be selected individually, and you won't be able to send a trade if either party has one equipped to a Pokemon already.

How to use the Rarity List:

The rarity list is where you can reference how many of a pokemon are currently owned in the game. We currently have two forms of the rarity list in the game. "Rarity List" and "Dynamic Rarity List" They can be found on the right side navigation menu towards the bottom.

Screenshot

Rarity - Shows complete running total of all pokemon in the game across unbanned accounts

Dynamic - Shows a total based on Active players in the game. If a player is inactive for 90 days their pokemon will not be counted in this list.

For example

There are 30 galaxy charmander in game, and I own them all. I put them in an alt account, and go inactive on all my accounts for 90 days. Those charmander will be subtracted on the Dynamic list. The dynamic list will show 0 while the regular list still shows 30.

Same scenario as above, but this time I only go inactive for 90 days on that alt account. I continue playing on my main account daily. Both the dynamic and regular list will still show 30.

Tips and trading etiquette:

  • While you may get some offers accepted, it's generally frowned upon by the community to just create random trades to people. Trades should be agreed upon before creating.

  • Values can vary drastically from player to player. One person may have traded a galaxy for a shiny roll ticket, but that doesn't mean everyone should or that it's the new value for it.

  • If you're unsure about a trade you can ask on discord, or message one of the mods for advice(Not Hanzu)

  • Check the rarity lists, and count the pre-evos as well if you're checking an evolved pokemon. For example: Charizard might be a 1ig, but if there are 50 charmanders those need to be considered as well.

  • When dealing with anything available on the maps it is best to check the encounter wiki. Count the rarity itself, mining/team rank unlock requirements, and how many pokemon also spawn on a lure with it. For example: Frigibax unlocks at mining level 30, but it is the only ice type that spawns in the cave. So you will find it 100% of the time with a lure. Could still hold value to some players, but to most veterans it will be similar to a shiny ticket.

General help with values. Keep in mind this is a newer game as of this guide's posting, and these things are subject to change:

  • Level 2 maps are the only normal maps that hold any kind of value, and even that varies pretty heavily based on battle pass, stronghold, and how common the Pokemon is at level 2. This of course doesn't account for levels since exp has value.

  • Shiny pokemon not on maps hold the most value of shinies. After that it varies based on encounter rarity and ease of lure. -Map shinies can be obtained from shiny chests, and caught after using shiny roll tickets.

  • Some sought after items can hold good value. Some of these being: Mega stone shards, Shiny roll tickets, shiny chests, bottle caps, gold bottle caps, and crystal geodes(in quantity) to name a few.

  • Wishing stars can be filled with up to 50 billion exp and traded to other other players.

If you feel like anything else needs to be explained more, or something added to the guide, feel free to contact Derextreme on discord or direct in game message.
